FlexSchool: A Unique Approach to Education for Twice Exceptional Students



FlexSchool is a private, co-educational, day school that caters to the unique needs of twice-exceptional (2e) students. Founded in 2010, FlexSchool provides a personalized and nurturing learning environment that allows 2e students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.


Twice-exceptional students are individuals who are gifted in one or more areas but also have a learning disability or difference that impacts their ability to learn in a traditional school setting. At FlexSchool, students are provided with a challenging and engaging academic program that is tailored to their individual needs and strengths. With a focus on project-based learning, real-world problem-solving, and self-directed learning, students are able to explore their passions and develop their talents in a supportive and collaborative environment.


In addition to a comprehensive academic program, FlexSchool also provides social and emotional support for 2e students. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, including counseling services, peer support groups, and mentorship programs, students are able to develop the skills and resilience needed to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.
