With campuses in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, and Bronxville, New York, and an expanding Cloud Campus that allows remote students to join live, discussion-based classes, FlexSchool’s approach to learning ensures that every student has the resources and support they need to thrive.

Our curriculum focuses on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning. Small class sizes, taught by subject experts, provide students with the opportunity to engage deeply with the material, ask high-level questions, and participate in rich, meaningful discussions. FlexSchool is designed to support students who are often misunderstood in traditional school environments, offering them a place where they can succeed academically and personally.

FlexSchool has seen great success with remote students joining from locations around the world, including Florida, Washington, California, West Virginia, the United Arab Emirates, Bermuda, and Switzerland. Our Cloud Campus offers flexibility and the same high-quality education for students seeking a virtual learning experience.

A History Rooted in Success

The idea for FlexSchool came from a simple need: to help a bright, curious young girl named Jane who had fallen through the cracks in the traditional school system. Jane loved to learn—she was passionate about animals, history, and storytelling. Yet, despite her academic brilliance, she struggled with the structure of school and the traditional grading system. Her grades didn’t reflect her intelligence, and she felt disconnected from her learning environment.

When Jane found FlexSchool, everything changed. The school’s flexible, individualized approach allowed her to rediscover her love for learning, embrace her strengths, and overcome the challenges she had faced in a more traditional educational setting. After six years at FlexSchool, Jane graduated in 2020, prepared for college, and is now studying anthropology, linguistics, map-making, and art at a well-regarded liberal arts college. Her story is just one of many that highlights the power of FlexSchool’s approach to education.
